Hunger-Proof Weight Loss

You can eat foods you love and still lose weight–without sacrifice, and without being hungry.  Eating balanced meals and snacks throughout the day is one way to control your hunger. It’s a well-known fact that leafy salad greens are good for you and your diet.  Greens offer a variety of vitamins and minerals, as well as anti-cancer phytochemicals. However, leafy greens don’t just have to be enjoyed as a salad. Although raw vegetables tend to save some nutrients, variety will help you include more vegetables in enjoyable meals. Many leafy greens are just as tasty cooked. For example spinach, cabbage, and romaine lettuce are delicious in stir-fries, soups and stews.

Super Slimming Steam

When the holidays have passed, it’s time to get back on track. No more heavy casseroles and fried foods. Serve up some nutritious, steamed vegetables! Pounds Away–With APPLES

A study in a town in Washington state showed that eating an apple with each meal helps people to lose weight. Over a 3 month period, 346 people ate a balanced meal, exercised regularly, and consumed an apple with every meal. Each person lost an average of 17 pounds! Healthy food choices and exercise helped contribute to the weight loss. However, part of the quick loss is also attributed to the fiber rich apple, with about 5 grams per serving. Consuming an apple with each meal helps people feel fuller, and curbs appetite to prevent overeating.You can benefit from having a bowl of apples and other high fiber fruits around during the holidays. Include a fruit with each meal to help you feel full and fend off holiday pounds!

Turkey Time!

Many people will be enjoying turkey for the Thanksgiving holiday. This can spell trouble for some dieters when the turkey is prepared with extra fat, or made with high fat, high calorie stuffing. Not to mention topping turkey off with gravy adds a lot of extra fat calories.There are several ways you can enjoy the holiday meal without going overboard.
