First, you can make sure you consume the breast meat and remove the skin. Let someone else enjoy the dark meat in the drumstick. It will save you quite a few fat calories. You can also save some calories by leaving off the gravy. If you’re preparing the turkey, you have the advantage of leaving out excess calories. For example, you can cook the stuffing separately from the turkey. This will help prevent the fat from the turkey from soaking into the stuffing.
