Changing your relationship with food is essential to your weight loss success. This does not mean depriving yourself from food, but rather expanding your options. There are many low-calorie, nutritious food choices that can satisfy your taste and hunger, while helping you lose weight. Instead of thinking that you can’t consume favorite foods anymore, think about the new foods you’ll learn to enjoy. Celebrate what you can have on your Diet Center program. Chocolate, Pizza, Pastas, Mexican Food, the choices are endless. Variety, new flavors and new textures will help keep your program exciting. Studies have shown that people who have a difficult time sticking to their diet, tend to consume the same foods every week. When you plan your grocery list, look at your Diet Center Meal Planner. Are there any items that you have not tried yet, or haven’t eaten in months? Try to add one new item each time you shop for food. Variety can help keep you interested and motivated. As the pounds come off, you’ll learn that managing your weight doesn’t mean staying away from food. It’s a matter of choosing the tasty, healthy choices you enjoy and consuming the appropriate amounts that keep you satisfied.
